The Roseberry pontiled soda featured for July is blown in a typical Baltimore slug plate mold, suggesting that Roseberry, an Alexandra Va. bottler, probably ordered bottles from nearby Baltimore.
Perhaps his porter, and his eagle soda, were produced there as well.
Eagle sodas have been dug in Baltimore and Charleston in a wide range of colors. We are still looking for good color pics on the Roseberry eagle, to update the APS listing. Anyone wishing to contribute images or research should contact me at the email address above.
